I met Don at my work place K&P Engineering. Right away Don made me laugh. I could not believe some of the SO many stories he told me. I loved every one of them. I will miss his laugh, I will miss his stories. God bless you Don

Donald Ray Anton

In Loving Memory

Born:
September 14, 1946 Laramie, Wyoming

Passed Away:
December 19, 2017 Denver, Colorado

Donald Ray Anton of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on December 19, 2017, at the age of 71.

Born in Laramie, Wyoming, Don moved to Denver in 1966. After meeting and falling in love with Karen Anton, the two were married in 1970. They welcomed their son, Jeff, and their daughter, Lisa, into the world in the next few years.

Don worked as a land surveyor, eventually opening his own company, D.R.A. Surveying, Inc. Anyone that knew Don, knew that he was an avid car and race enthusiast. In his earlier years, he raced go-karts. Over the years, he belonged to a few car clubs around Denver and loved heading to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah every year for Speed Week. Don was also a die-hard Broncos fan – win or lose. He was a dog lover – particularly Bill Terriers.

Don is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen Anton, his son, Jeff Anton, and daughter-in-law, Christi Anton, grandkids Jack (9) and Kim (5), and daughter, Lisa Anton, and his beloved Bull Terrier Lulu.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Don’s name to The Mile High Bull Terrier Club: mhbtc.com.
