Thank you loved ones for your support, prayers, food and the love you have been showering on Gordon, Derrick, our families and myself. My dad was a talented guitarist, but mostly a generous man with an amazing sense of humor who loved his children, grandchildren family and friends. Your thoughts and prayers during our grieving time helps us process our great loss. We know that our dad is playing the most beautiful guitar in Heaven for the Lord at this very moment. Once again, we send our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Love and Blessings in Christ, Karen

We want to express our deepest sympathy to all the family. We got to see George play & sing at one of the celebration’s at Eric & Karen’s house. He was singing and playing guitar with a Great Big Smile on his face enjoying every minute of it. We enjoyed it as well. This is how we will remember him. Jimmy Hendrix’s move over, there’s a new kid in town. Peace & all of our love. Al & Tina Martinez and Family

Rest in peace my pops I already miss you so much. I took you for granted thinking you would always be here but I know the Lord has a new home for you . The angles are rejoicing your arrival, I love you.

Dad, I miss you so. I’ve called your number several times to talk with you, forgetting you aren’t at your apartment. I know you are praising the Father, Son and Holy Spirit right now. But I miss you! Joey said he had a dream that when you entered Heaven you saw Gerald and the two of you went looking for Stevie Ray Vaughn. WOW!!! To be in the presence of God, Jesus and Stevie, I know you truly are in Heaven. I love you Daddy…you are at peace now. Love, Karen

Dad, Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. Although you are not here on this earth, I’ve realized how much you are still a part of me. Your wisdom, humor, love and appreciation for music and family are embedded within me. Your legacy lives on…. I miss you! Love, Karen
