Richard Massey Alexander

Richard (Dick) Alexander was born in Long Beach, California to Ruth Ethelynn Massey and Edward Clifton Alexander. He attended Wichita High School East and Kansas State University, as well as serving his country in the United States Navy during World War II. In 1949 he married Betty Opal Peckham and they ultimately settled in Arvada with their two children, Katy Alexander Haas and Michael R. Alexander. Dick was a licensed Real Estate Broker and Appraiser. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, the Masons, the Shrine, and the Elks. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, his daughter Katy and son-in-law Rich, two grandchildren Mackenzie Shinn and Dirk Shinn, one great grandson Tyler Frahm, his brother Thomas Alexander and niece Ann Alexander Leggett. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Michael. Dick was a good and honest man and will be missed by us all.
